XAUEN CAMEL C.

It has been christened this necklace with the name of Xauen or Chauen to assimilate it to the traditional, artisan and beautiful city of Morocco in the mountain of Rif near Tetuan. Well known for its irregularly marked streets and steep houses frequently with blue tones. Its original population was mainly composed of al-Ándalus exiles, both Muslim and Jewish, which is why the old part of the city looks very similar to that of the Andalusian villages. Chauen is built on a small valley. The oldest part of the city grows up the mountain with abundant springs. They work excellent leather.
